A couple, one rather tall and the other much smaller, almost borrower sized, with the signature ears and flitting tail.
The larger of the two has hay fever and has big itchy sneezes.
The small one is quite allergic to dust and catches cold quite easily.
They both have the kink.
Small loves hearing his boyfriend trying to stifle his sneezing fits and seeing him attempt to quell the itch in his nose
Tall adores small’s sharp dusty sneezes and is absolutely enamored by his sniffly snotty colds.
Maybe tall is very conscious of the size and sound of his sneezes and always attempts to cover and muffle them at all costs, apologizing profusely no matter what.
Maybe small doesn’t give a shit about covering or wiping his nose when he’s ill and tall has to trick him into cleaning himself up. Maybe tall secretly likes that but has to pretend to be annoyed to get small to take care of himself.
Thinking about someone who has a cold and has been sneezing a lot and their nose is just rubbed raw, it looks red and irritated. So their partner puts Vaseline on it to try and help because it's pretty sore from being wiped, blown and rubbed so much. But they still can't stop sneezing and going through tissues. Needless to say: They need to reapply the Vaseline a lot. Cause they keep rubbing it off by accident.
maybe they cant tell if its still on with the shine of mucus getting mistaken for vaseline
I was thinking about something along those lines, like the partner's trying to rub vasasine on their s/o's nose but they keep sneezing tons of snot out so they go "keep sneezing out all that snot and I'm gonna end up rubbing your snot all over your nose by accident"

A has a cold and is sitting in bed, propped up against a mountain of pillows, and all bundled up, wearing an intricately layered outfit of pajamas, cardigan, and scarf.
Their nose is bright red and shiny, quivering every ten seconds with a torturously ticklish sneeze.
They want to make the most of their confinement and are trying to read that book that's been on their shelf forever, buy they can't read more than two paragraphs before their vision becomes hazy, eyes swimming with the urgent need to sneeze.
Bonus points if their SO is watching from the doorframe.

we all love someone going out on a date or something even though they're coming down with a cold
but my personal fave is
someone going out on a date while they're getting over a cold. like not in the middle when they feel terrible but more to the end where they're still sneezing and snuffling but they have their energy back
and maybe its the sort of cold where you sound the worst when you're getting better from it-
maybe they’re at a museum or aquarium or something and the sick one is really excited and is too distracted to remember they’ve got a cold
so their s/o has to remind them that
“darling, your nose is running again”
“i can’t understand a word you’re saying. blow.”
“that tissues full, dear, its not doing any good”
